Frequently Asked Questions
What is it like to get an IV?
It's really a relaxing process!. We have recliners for you to lounge in. You can read, listen to music or choose a coaching session. You get the health benefits of an infusion and updates on your health plan.

Who performs the therapy?
Our staff includes only nurses and paramedics to assure that you have an experienced licensed person performing the infusion.

Is there a needle is my arm?
No, this is a common mis-understanding. An "IV catheter" looks like a tiny straw. A needle is used to guide the catheter in, then properly disposed of by our experienced staff.

Does it hurt?
Inserting an IV is very minimal discomfort that lasts for less then 2 seconds.

Don't you need a doctor to do this?
Yes, we have a medical director. This a local physician that you can have a separate consultation with for more complex medical problems. Medical directors support our infusion protocols, but you choose your infusion, based on the self-treatment guidelines supported by the State of Arizona laws.
